Issue Position

The unintended consequences of legalizing marijuana without action by the Drug Enforcement Agency is affecting our relationships with our neighbor states and has created myriad problems for enforcement of impaired driving. The greater issue is that of the ease by which our State Constitution can be amended. We must address the need for a two thirds majority for constitutional amendments so that laws with far reaching consequences can be adjusted as common sense dictates.
